INSS 427 Business Data Communications (3)
This course provides students with a basic understanding of terminology, techniques, and concepts of business data communications. The emphasis is on both the technical aspects of data communication and related managerial issues. Topics include, but are not limited to, physical aspects of data communication, common carrier services, local area networks, wide area networks, Internet and electronic commerce, network management, and network applications.

Prerequisite: INSS 300 or permission of the instructor.
