INSS 421 Design of Database Management Systems (3)
Introduces the concepts and technologies relevant to the design, development, and implementation of database systems. Data modeling concepts and principles of database design are used to illustrate the construction of integrated databases. Database management systems (DBMS) and their purpose, advantages, disadvantages, and application in business are covered.
Prerequisite: INSS 300 or permission of the instructor.
