The Master of Science degree in Business with a specialization in Management Information Systems is designed to prepare students to become managers of an Information Technology function in a business organization. It provides breadth and depth of exposure as well as foundational skills in the principal concepts and functions found in most commercial organizations today.
Students complete courses covering systems analysis and design; programming; database development and implementation; infrastructure functions, including operating systems and networks; and e-business development and implementation. In addition, they develop a comprehensive understanding of today's key IT management issues.
It is not limited to students from any specific discipline; this program is a natural extension of undergraduate work in business, computer science, economics, engineering, nursing, mathematics, statistics, and related fields.
